Jan Udo Holey alias Jan van Helsing ist mehrfacher Autor und gleichzeitig auch der Inhaber des Ama Deus Verlags (benannt nach seinem Sohn Amadeus). Geboren wurde Jan van Helsing 1967 in Dinkelsbühl. In seiner Familie gingen Hellseher, Heiler, Channeling-Medien oder mit dem Jenseits korrespondierende Menschen ein und aus. Nach Schulbesuchen in Crailsheim, Bammental (bei Heidelberg), Cambridge (UK) und München begann er Ende der achtziger Jahre damit, durch die Welt zu reisen. Auf diesen Reisen begegnete er nicht nur vielen spirituellen Menschen, sondern auch solchen aus Geheimdiensten, Freimaurerlogen und Magiern, wobei diese Begegnungen und der erfolgte Wissensaustausch schließlich dazu führten, dass er 1993 sein erstes Buch "Geheimgesellschaften und ihre Macht im 20. Jahrhundert" schrieb.
