Ben Aaronovitch wurde in London geboren und lebt auch heute noch dort. Er arbeitet als Buchhändler, wenn er gerade keine Romane oder Fernsehdrehbücher schreibt (er hat u. a. Drehbücher zu der englischen Kult-TV-Serie "Doctor Who" verfasst).Lee Sullivan studierte Informative Illustration und arbeitete anschließend einige Zeit für British Aerospace, bevor er sich als Illustrator selbstständig machte. Da ihn seine große Liebe zu Comics seit der Kindheit nicht mehr losgelassen hatte, ergriff er die Chance, als der britische Ableger des Comic-Verlags Marvel ihn als Mitarbeiter anwarb. Seine erfolgreichsten Arbeiten dort waren die Illustrationen zu diversen Ausgaben der Dr Who-Comics.
Nebenbei spielt Lee Sullivan Saxophon in der Band Roxy Magic, mit der er regelmäßig durch Großbritannien tourt.
