Fascism is doing well it has become a meme, a good for consumption and an emotional world. Its dreams of violence and man fantasies find a perfect biotope on the net. Right-wing agitators create marketable emotional patterns that reach from YouTube and parliaments to the streets. They build attractive counter-realities and win elections, followers and audiences with them. From GamerGate to Halle, "great exchange" to "Corona lie" - Simon Strick examines the affective strategies of right-wing actors. Numerous analyses show how they popularise and connect feelings of endangerment for whites and men: This fascism speaks the language of the risk society and effectively manipulates democratic spaces. Distancing is not a remedy for this right-wing revolution of feelings. Right(-wing) feelings must be answered collectively and affectively.

Simon Strick (Dr.) ist Genderforscher und Medienwissenschaftler am ZeM Brandenburg. Er hatte Positionen u.a. an FU Berlin, Universität Paderborn und University of Virginia inne. Seine Forschungs- und Lehrtätigkeit konzentriert sich auf Gender- und Rassismustheorien, Populäre Kulturen, Affect Studies, Medien- und Kulturanalyse. Mit Susann Neuenfeldt und Werner Türk gründete er 2009 das Performancekollektiv PKRK. Simon Strick lebt und arbeitet in Berlin.
