Oliver Jeffers, geb.1977, ist Designer, Illustrator und Maler. Zahlreiche Auszeichnungen und Ausstellungen u.a. in New York, Dublin, London, Sydney und Belfast. Gewinner des renommierten Nestl‚ Children's Book Prize in Gold 2005 und des Blue Peter Book 2006. Jeffers lebt nach seinen Reisen um die Welt wieder in Belfast, Nordirland.
Oliver Jeffers is a highly acclaimed talent in picture books. He graduated from The University of Ulster in 2001 with First Class honours and has since exhibited his paintings around the world. His outstanding talent has already been recognised by several high-profile awards, including the Nestl‚ Children's Book Prize Gold Award, the Blue Peter Book of the Year Award and the Irish Children's Book of the Year.
