Susan Blackmore, geboren 1951, studierte Psychologie und Physiologie in Oxford und promovierte in Parapsychologie an der Universität von Surrey. Derzeit arbeitet sie als freie Publizistin und Moderatorin u.a. für die BBC und lehrt an der Universität von Bristol. Sie hat maßgebliche Arbeiten zur Theorie des Bewußtseins und zur Evolutionstheorie vorgelegt.
